Samsung Galaxy Note Jelly Bean Update

It's been a while since Samsung has roll-out Jelly Bean update to its original Samsung Galaxy Note. As what have been discussed from various sites, Jelly Bean update for the said device will take the same level as what has been roll-out to Note 2 and Galaxy S3.

Here, I'm going to share my experience on how Jelly Bean update has gone through with my Galaxy Note. I was too excited before and can't really wait to update because for all the new features this update has to offer. What I'm excited for is that the feature for multi-scre
en/multi-tasking and the expectations that it will also improve the device's speed and performance.

When I first get the notification telling that my device is already receiving  the update via OTA, I urgently downloaded it for I have waited it for so long. But to my dismay, the installation didn't go well for it receives error during the process. I tried it thrice but to no avail until the update via OTA vanished. So did, I tried updating via Samsung Kies which went alright. I successfully updated my Galaxy Note to Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

I got the new features and look and all the expected ones but not with the Airview and the previews for Video in the gallery. The better performance it promise to improve is not actually it is because it just worsen it. The device came very laggy and slow. I'm still thinking on reformatting my phone for the hope that it will cure the lagging and slow performance. Still hesitant to do that because if I did, I will lose some data I have for the installed application. But I'll let you know if I did already and give feedback on the performance issue. Ciao for now.
